When your clients need more than just a training plan

Hucosport helps Personal Trainers and Wellbeing Coaches who take a holistic approach to identify the client’s true starting point, motivation and the way of working that best supports change.

Even before the first session, you receive a clear visual overview of the client’s situation – so you can use your time together to focus on what will genuinely move them forward.

Individual wellbeing coaching is particularly suitable for you if your clients are aiming for lasting lifestyle change, more energy, weight management or overall wellbeing – rather than simply following a training programme.

Why even a good wellbeing coaching plan is sometimes not put into practice

Clients often already know that they should move more, recover better or change their eating habits. Yet putting this into practice in everyday life can still be difficult.

The reason is not always a lack of motivation or a poor training programme. If the client’s overall load, available resources, everyday realities and natural way of operating do not support the plan, even a good programme may not be followed through.

Hucosport helps make these factors visible before the real change process begins – creating a strong foundation for individual wellbeing coaching.

Better individual wellbeing coaching needs answers to two questions

WHAT should be changed?

The Wellbeing Navigator helps you understand the client’s current situation as a whole:

  • exercise
  • nutrition
  • sleep and recovery
  • overall load
  • everyday habits

HOW should the change be implemented?

The client’s preferred action style helps you understand, for example:

  • what kind of goals are motivating
  • how much structure they need
  • how feedback should best be given
  • whether they need more freedom, facts, encouragement or a clear plan

When WHAT and HOW come together, coaching becomes genuinely more individual.

How the Wellbeing Navigator works in practice

1. The client completes the assessment before the session
They assess their exercise, nutrition, sleep and recovery, as well as their own way of operating.

2. You receive a ready-to-use visual report
At a glance, you can see strengths, areas for development and possible bottlenecks that may be holding change back.

3. You use the session for what matters most
The report provides a framework for the conversation – it does not replace the coach’s professional expertise.

4. You choose the first changes together
What should be addressed first, and what is the best way for this particular client to move forward?

5. You track the change
If needed, a follow-up assessment shows how the situation has developed.

How can Hucosport fit into your existing business model?

1. A premium start to wellbeing coaching

The client completes the assessment before the first session. You review the report together and identify the most important goals for change.

2. As part of a 3–12 month coaching programme

The cost of the assessment is included in the coaching package, so it does not need to be sold as a separate product.

3. Follow-up makes change visible

A repeat assessment after, for example, 3 or 6 months shows how the client’s situation has changed.

4. An opportunity to work with corporate clients

The same approach can also be used in workplace wellbeing and corporate health projects.

Is Hucosport right for you?

Hucosport is particularly suitable for you if you:

  • work with clients over several months
  • cover recovery, nutrition, energy levels or lifestyle alongside training
  • often work with clients who know what they should do but still struggle to put it into practice
  • want to use the first session for more coaching and less background interviewing
  • want to make your clients’ progress visible
  • are interested in motivation and behaviour change
  • may want to expand your services to corporate clients.

If you mainly sell individual training sessions or focus heavily on performance-oriented training programming, Hucosport may not be the most relevant tool for you.

What our customers say

David Bachmeier

The Wellbeing Navigator is a very powerful tool that allows me, even before starting to work actively with a client, to understand what motivates them, on what basis they make decisions, and what drives their long-term behavior and habits. With the help of the Wellbeing Navigator, I can adapt my communication to match the character of my client, enabling me to motivate them sustainably and guide them into action.
For my clients, the Wellbeing Navigator is often an eye-opening experience that helps them better understand themselves and their behavior. At the beginning of our cooperation, they also receive an assessment of their current status in the areas of exercise, nutrition, sleep, and recovery. Based on this, we can already derive the first adjustments together and clearly identify the challenges and obstacles that need to be addressed.
The Wellbeing Navigator has become indispensable in my work. It is an essential addition for both coach and client in a truly individualized collaboration. Only through a deep understanding of the individual, their circumstances, and their characteristics can lasting positive change be achieved.

Anna Burgard

The Wellbeing Navigator forms the foundation of our coaching process. It allows us to work more individually with our clients’ goals, better address their challenges, and prevent or remove potential obstacles at an early stage.
The profile enables me as a coach to get to know my clients quickly, understand them deeply, and adapt all measures accordingly — both in one-on-one coaching and in a business context.
In business environments, it also helps to make changes visible and to integrate individual preferred styles into everyday work. For me, it is one of the most valuable tools in my work.

Sandra Mennel

With the Wellbeing Navigator, I can assess my clients even before our first training session. I know where their challenges lie and which actions will help them implement their goals. I can tailor both training and coaching entirely to the individual needs of my clients.
My clients feel understood. At the same time, they gain clarity about why they were not able to implement their plans in the past and why, for example, they need a different type of training in stressful situations than in more relaxed phases of life. I don’t waste time on plans that are not suitable for my clients. Instead, I know exactly what to focus on.
I repeatedly experience these “aha moments” with my clients when we discuss their action style. Many suddenly understand why certain things have been challenging in the past — and how they can now overcome them. In addition, they get a clear overview of the three areas: exercise, nutrition, and recovery. It becomes very tangible where there is still room for improvement and what is already working well.

Christian Köhler

I have been using the Wellbeing Navigator since January 2022 with my personal training clients as well as in corporate wellbeing programs. Right from the start of a collaboration — both in one-on-one coaching and in corporate settings — I receive very reliable initial insights into individual challenges. This allows me to quickly identify the greatest leverage for change and determine which measures should be prioritized. For the client, everything is transparent and easy to understand, both in terms of content and visualization.
Through a re-test after a few weeks, it is possible to directly measure changes in the areas of exercise, nutrition, and recovery/sleep. Since the personal style is a relatively stable factor that significantly influences how a client should be motivated, I essentially receive a personal “instruction manual” for how to approach and motivate each client — and what to avoid. This is highly valuable not only in one-on-one coaching but also in team settings, where it can improve processes, interpersonal interaction, and productivity.
I would also like to highlight the excellent service provided by HucoSport. The support in interpreting data and setting up corporate wellbeing initiatives is an extremely valuable added benefit. Conclusion: An easy-to-use tool for quickly identifying individual challenges, prioritizing actions, and effectively shaping behavioral change.
